Chris Daughtry has apparently played his last show for 2021, having decided to postpone this year’s concerts as he deals with the recent death of his daughter.

Daughtry — the “American Idol” star’s self-named band — was scheduled to perform in the Bay Area next month. But the show will now be rescheduled for sometime in early 2022.

“In light of recent events, Daughtry’s Dearly Beloved Tour will be rescheduling the remainder of this year’s shows, including the performance scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 2, 2021, at San Jose Civic, into early 2022,” a news release reads. “New dates will be announced in the coming days.

“Chris and his family appreciate all the love and support fans have shown during this difficult time. They thank the fans for their understanding and look forward to seeing them again on the road.”
