The film’s five-day box office receipts are estimated to be around ₹120 crores, with a probable first-week gross of ₹165-170 crores. By the end of the second weekend, the film is expected to have grossed over ₹200 crores in India, with a final figure of approximately ₹220-250 crores. So far, the film has grossed over ₹72.50 crores in Tamil Nadu. By a factor of more than 60%, Monday’s receipts were the highest on a non-holiday in Tamil Nadu. In fact, they were well ahead of Baahubali 2, which was released on Monday due to the Labor Day holiday.
