The vinyl skin maker has launched its “Something” skins for iPhones, Samsung, and Google Pixel smartphone that looks akin to the Nothing Phone (1) (review) design, minus the LEDs, of course. The Dbrand also offers what it calls a “Something” case for the same smartphones.
Nothing Phone (1) skin – Something!
The Something skins and covers are only available for a few smartphones, including the Samsung S22 Ultra, the Google Pixel 6 Pro, and the iPhone 13 Pro Max. The Something skins price starts at USD24.95 (Approx. Rs 2,000), while a grip case costs USD49.90 (Approx. Rs 4,000). Neither the case nor the skins offer LED lights, and are merely just a replica of the Nothing Phone (1)’s design.
With the Something skins, the vinyl skin maker has seemingly mocked Nothing, as seen on the website. Additionally, Dbrand’s CEO Adam Ijaz, in a mail to The Verge, said that the Nothing Phone (1) ‘s main appeal is the design and believes no one will get a skin or case of the Phone (1). “If we can’t cover the phone, how do we profit off Nothing?” said Dbrand’s CEO in the mail.
