Having lost a plethora of their 50th Anniversary North American tour dates in 2020 to the COVID-19 pandemic, and tragically, one of the duo’s founding members, Florian Schneider, to cancer, Kraftwerk recently announced an extensive North American tour in 2022 to showcase “all compositions of the eight original albums.” Coined as the 3D Tour, the newly announced stretch of shows commences on May 27, 2022, in St. Louis, Missouri.
Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider founded Kraftwerk in Düsseldorf, Germany in 1970. On October 30, the pioneering group was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame after being nominated in 2018. Kraftwerk’s computer-generated musical legacy is immortal, and fans will be able to experience it in-person next summer. Tickets to the 3D Tour officially go on sale on November 5, but American Express cardholders in select markets can purchase tickets as early as November 2. More information on Kraftwerk’s forthcoming 3D Tour is available here.
