The return of the D23 Expo to the Anaheim Convention Center means the exhibition floor and the streets around the Disneyland resort will be teeming with thousands of Disney, Pixar, Star Wars and Marvel fans dressed in cosplay costumes for the three-day party.
The 2022 D23 Expo that kicked off Friday, Sept. 9 and continues through Sunday, Sept. 11 will be command central for all things Disney this weekend.
The D23 Expo is expected to deliver a slew of announcements about new attractions coming to Disneyland, Disney California Adventure and other Disney theme parks around the world.
Disneyland has already unveiled scale models of the reimagined Mickey’s Toontown opening in early 2023 and the new Tiana’s Bayou Adventure debuting in late 2024 along with new details about the projects coming to the Anaheim theme park.
Disney Parks and Experiences will host a series of panels, presentations and the Wonderful World of Dreams pavilion throughout the event.
