Don’t Worry Darling Story
The thriller is based in a utopian society in California and is set in the 1950s. Alice starts to wonder about her surroundings when unusual incidents happen while wearing nice clothes and having them look like nothing can ruin her idyllic lifestyle. When no one saves her neighbor seems to believe her, and she also starts to doubt her sanity.
Given that Pugh played Dani in Ari Aster’s Midsommar and entertained audiences with her mental breakdown, we can probably expect her to give a similarly amusing performance in this film. Don’t Worry, Darling’s screenplay was written by Katie Silberman. Silberman wrote the scripts for Wilde’s Booksmart and the Netflix romance comedy Set It Up.
