The people from Toledo are precisely the main alternative to the rojiblancos, who, although they defeated the Manchegos with some clarity in the opening match of Nacional (5-2), did not show such superiority in a disputed and entertaining final between both teams.

A goal by Diego was added to Álex’s, and in the last moments he unbalanced the balance and gave the cup to the harlequins, who had the support of the Castilla y León Football Federation in the Albacete competition, played in the adjoining fields to the Carlos Belmonte Stadium.

Precisely, Álex has become one of the sensations of the tournament, in the First Division in which the Fedeacyl team plays. The player from Avila finished the championship as the top scorer, thanks to the six goals he scored in the four games played.

His goals have contributed to Castilla y León finishing the Nacional without defeats, and achieving four victories in two games.

The team led by Elena García debuted with victory against the Toledo team, and maintained their success in front of goal against Primi Sport, a team they defeated 3-2 –also with two goals from Álex-.

With the final secured in the group stage, in the third game, the rojiblancos closed this part of the tournament with a thrashing of San Ginés (5-1), and headed to the final against Realidad Toledo, who had managed to overcome the defeat initial to reach the final match.

The competition organized by Fecam, had 33 teams representing 19 delegations and six autonomous communities (Castilla La Mancha, Andalusia, Castilla y León, Madrid, Valencian Community and Region of Murcia), as well as 35 coaches, 14 delegates and 353 players. A ‘template’ that was completed with more than 40 volunteers from Albacete.
