Michael Buble is ready to take on Leafs Nation.
During a Buffalo stop on his current Higher tour, the B.C.-born crooner thrilled the crowd at the KeyBank Center when he slipped on a Sabres jersey.

“I know there are people who came from Ontario to see the show,” Buble said acknowledging the cheering fans before taking a swipe at the Buds. “The Maple Leafs can suck it!”

The Buffalo Sabres official Twitter shared a clip of Buble uttering the slur along with the caption, “…so yeah, we love @MichaelBuble.”
His comments quickly divided the Internet, with many in Sabres Land clearly supporting his remark.
“One of the best moments of the night!” one fan remarked, while another added, “BUBLE IS THE BEST!!!! I LOVE IT!!!”
But fans of the Leafs were quick to pounce on the Grammy winner, who plays Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena tonight.
“Well then, looks like Michael Buble will no longer be getting played at Christmas around here anymore,” one critic sniped. “Just like Buble, the Sabres season will be over after Christmas,” a second person jabbed.
Buble, who is a diehard fan of the Vancouver Canucks, told the Sun in an interview last year that he loved the North Division the NHL established during the pandemic-shortened 2021 season.
“It probably won’t happen again, but it’s awesome. Watching these rivalries build and getting to see our favourite teams facing off against each other is incredible.”
It remains to be seen how Buble will appease Leafs fans in Toronto tonight, but something tells me he’s about to steal a page out of Justin Bieber’s playbook and have some fun at the expense of the Montreal Canadiens.
