The UFC returns to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, at the Etihad Arena Saturday, Oct. 22, 2022. The 12-fight card begins at 10 a.m. ET features two title fights, with Charles Oliveira vs. Islam Makhachev headlining it all for the lightweight strap.

In the main event, the former lightweight champion, who only lost it on the scale, Oliveira (+160), comes in as the betting underdog. The No. 1 ranked Brazilian is on a 12-fight win streak, including the last three, all finishes over top-five lightweight contenders.

Across the octagon, the No. 4 ranked lightweight Makhachev (-190) comes in on his impressive win streak of 10, the last four by stoppage. Khabib Nurmagomedov’s top protege has only lost once, back in 2015.

In the co-main event, Aljamain Sterling (-175) defends the bantamweight title vs. TJ Dillashaw (+150). Sterling is on a seven-fight win streak, including his split-decision title defense against Petr Yan, after winning the title from Yan due to an illegal knee.

As for the No. 2 ranked Dillashaw, this is just his fourth fight in four years due to a two-year EPO suspension and injuries. His last fight was an adversity-filled victory over top contender Cory Sandhagen. Dillashaw is attempting to become a three-time bantamweight champion with a win.

UFC 280 betting lines are, for the most part, close and commensurate with the superb matchmaking on this card. Muhammad Mokaev (-1150) vs. Malcolm Gordon (+750) is the lone lopsided line.
