The entire second season of The Balvenie’s digital series, The Quest for Craft, is out now on YouTube. People I’ve met and places I’ve been have shaped my ideas, and internal expectations coupled with a need for self-expression has manifested into some spectacular creations.”
The first season of the series, which featured conversations with Michael Che, Jimmy Jam, Patti Smith and Malcolm Gladwell, won the 2021 Shorty Award in the Industry: Wine, Beer & Spirits category and the 2021 Brand Film Award in the Consumer Goods category. Quest for Craft is part of a multi-year collaboration between Questlove and The Balvenie Single Malt Scotch Whiskey.
Season two of the series is divided into chapters, with Chapter 5 exploring craft and expression with music producer Mark Ronson; Chapter 6 exploring craft and perfection with Misty Copeland; Chapter 7 exploring craft and place with Fran Lebowitz and Chapter 8 exploring craft and chemistry with Kenan Thompson. The series is executive produced by Questlove, The Balvenie, Alexis Rosenzweig, and Two One Five Entertainment.
