If you want to jet off in comfort and style, then head to Heathrow Terminal 5, according to The Points Guy UK.

Inside London Heathrow Terminal 5 is British Airway’s Concorde Room, which even frequent visitors to the airport might not have seen before as it is reserved for First Class BA passengers.

Holidaymakers will need to be either departing London in First Class, or arriving in the UK on a First Class ticket and continuing their journey on another British Airways flight.

A Concorde Room card will also get guests access, but you’ll need to hit 5,000 Tier Points a year to join the club.

The lounge is open from 5am until 10:30pm every day, so early birds won’t have to wait long in the morning.

If you’re one of the lucky passengers, you can check in using the First Wing at the very southern end of Terminal 5, followed by the dedicated security queue.

Walk forward and follow the signs to turn left, exiting the Galleries First lounge, across the dark corridor to the wood-panelled walls of the Concorde Room entrance.

Don’t worry if you’ve gone through general airport security, there’s another entrance immediately after South Security that leads to the Concorde room although you’ll be asked to show your boarding pass.

Once inside, there’s a lot to explore – including a cocktail bar and a lounge that serves £175 bottles of champagne and an à la carte menu.

Expect Eggs Benedict or a Full English for breakfast, along with sea bass or mushroom bourguignon pie later in the day.

There is even an outdoor terrace that provides views of the British Airways fleet as well as the busy terminal below.

Aviation fans can spot the 13-foot British Airways Concorde aircraft, which racked up 5,000 flights between 1979 to 2003.

Even better, you can bring a mate, as an additional passenger who isn’t travelling first class is allowed into the lounge too.

Don’t get too carried away though – you’ll need at least 15 minutes to reach your gate.

If you don’t quite qualify for this lounge, you can get free access to an easyJet lounge at Gatwick Airport.

And paying for an airport lounge could even save you money on your next holiday.
