Helena Bonham Carter defended disgraced “Harry Potter” author J.K. Rowling and “Pirates of the Caribbean” star Johnny Depp Saturday.

Carter — who appeared in four “Harry Potter” films as the Bellatrix Lestrange — said the author is being “hounded” over her views on transgender women, which have been viewed as bigoted by some, reports The Sunday Times.

“It’s horrendous, a load of b——t,” said the actress.

“I think [Rowling] has been hounded. It’s been taken to the extreme, the judgmentalism of people. She’s allowed her opinion, particularly if she’s suffered abuse.”

“Everybody carries their own history of trauma and forms their opinions from that trauma and you have to respect where people come from and their pain,” continued the “Les Miserable” actress.

“You don’t all have to agree on everything – that would be insane and boring. She’s not meaning it aggressively, she’s just saying something out of her own experience.”

Depp, who was involved in a high-profile defamation case against his ex-wife Amber Heard, starred alongside Carter in nearly seven films.

"You don’t all have to agree on everything – that would be insane and boring. She’s not meaning it aggressively, she’s just saying something out of her own experience.”

The lawsuit alleged that Heard defamed him in a 2018 op-ed about domestic violence published in the Washington Post. Depp claimed that the piece implied he had abused her while the pair were married.

Depp ultimately won the lawsuit, forcing Heard into a massive payout.

“Oh, I think he’s completely vindicated,” Carter said. “I think he’s fine now. Totally fine.”

“My view is that [Heard] got on that pendulum. That’s the problem with these things – that people will jump on the bandwagon because it’s the trend and to be the poster girl for it.”
