WA OPENING HOURS: What’s open and when over festive season

What’s better than a bunch of public holidays in a row? … Not much!

West Aussies are scheduled for five recognised public holidays over the next 14 days; December 25 (Christmas), December 26 & 27 (Boxing Day), and January 1 & 2 (New Years’ Day).

Alongside the holidays, many businesses alter their operating hours from December 24th (Christmas Eve) through to January 2.

With many enjoying the getaway from work this time of year, finding retailers that are actually open continues to be a struggle.

As procrastinators and last-minute shoppers unite for the end-of-year festive madness, PerthNow has collated your go-to opening hours list.

Groceries

Spudshed

Most stores are open 24/7 throughout the festive season.

There are reduced opening hours for the Mandurah and Northam stores, with Wanneroo closed on Christmas.
