About Avatar: The Way of Water

Avatar The Way of Water is a sequel to Avatar (2009), which is a creation of James Cameron. It’s a science-fiction that has now become the second-highest box office opener in India. For more than a decade, the film seems to be the light of the day on 16 December 2022.  

The narrative of the film shows that Jake Sully and Ney’tiri have formed a family and are doing everything to stay together. However, they must leave their home and explore the regions of Pandora.  

When an ancient threat resurfaces, Jake must fight a difficult war against the humans. The sequel of Avatar (2009) is more about interpersonal relationships and about protecting families.

Avatar The Way of Water Box Office Collection Day 8: 

James Cameron’s creation Avatar The Way of Water has just finished its first week at the Indian box office. It was projected to make Rs 200 crores in one week of its release though wounded up to may have Rs 193 crores.

The preview of the film was released on Thursday and followed by a grand theatrical release on Friday, December 16, 2022.  

Avatar The Way of Water is the second biggest Hollywood opener in India after Avengers: Endgame with Rs 41 crores on its opening day, whereas Endgame made Rs 53 crores on its first day and finished its total collection in India for about Rs 373 Crores.

The Way of Water made Rs 42 crores on Saturday, Rs 47 crore on Sunday, Rs 18.5 crore on Monday, Rs 16.5 crore on Tuesday, Rs 15 crore on Wednesday, and made Rs 13.8 crore on Thursday and is estimated to earn Rs 10 Crores on Friday.

The business on the Indian market is expected to pick up again over its second weekend, though it might have to face stiff competition with Rohit Shetty’s new release Cirkus, starring Ranveer Singh.

Competing with Avatar 2009 film it opened with low though topped the box office for several months and it’s the biggest film in history with $2.9 billion earning globally.
