Sonam Kapoor sells grand Mumbai apartment with breathtaking view, temperature-controlled pool for ₹32.5 cr. See pics

Sonam Kapoor has sold her apartment in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) for ₹32.5 crore, as per reports. Sonam had reportedly bought the duplex apartment in Sunteck Signature Island at BKC in 2015. Breathtaking views of Mumbai, temperature-controlled pool, health club and state-of-the-art gym, mini theatre, and an elaborate landscaped garden with children’s area are just some of the luxuries Sonam’s apartment offered. As per reports, along with these amenities, the new buyer will also have an access to four car parking spaces inside the apartment complex. The building also offers sea-view and multipurpose hall, among other facilities. As per reports, Sonam had a 7,000 sq ft duplex apartment in Sunteck Signature Island, which is spread across 4,610 sq ft.

As per an ETimes report, documents accessed by squarefeatindia.com showed that Sonam had purchased the apartment for ₹31.48 crore and she sold it on December 29 for ₹32.5 crore. According to a Money Control report, a Delhi-based company paid a stamp duty of ₹1.95 crore on December 29, per documents accessed by a real estate firm, indextap.com.

Sonam lives between London and Mumbai with businessman-husband Anand Ahuja and their son Vayu Kapoor Ahuja, who was born in August 2022. In November, Sonam had shared a glimpse of her newborn’s nursery in Mumbai featuring a monochromatic colour scheme and whimsical decor. The room featured playful murals with elephants, tigers and other animals. Apart from the safari-themed walls, the nursery featured wooden furniture, white lamps, and lots of soft toys.

Recently, Sonam celebrated Christmas and new year in the company of family and friends. On Wednesday, Anand shared photos and videos from their holiday featuring Sonam and Vayu as well as Anil Kapoor, Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor. Sharing the images on Instagram, Anand wrote in the caption, “The past 10 days. Grateful and wish everyone a happy and fulfilling New Year…”

To mark the beginning of 2023, Sonam too had dedicated an Instagram post to her husband and their son Vayu. In the image, Anand Ahuja is walking with Vayu. “My two Leos. My whole (world emoji). Last year was so special for us. A late wish to everyone but a very happy new year. Life is just getting better everyday. Thank you god, universe… I’m forever grateful for my life and for everything that has been given to me. Everyday is truly phenomenal,” she wrote in the caption.
