Ronnie O’Sullivan has been on top of the snooker world for the majority of 2022 and will be keen to hit the ground running in 2023.
After suffering some crushing and somewhat surprising losses in the latter half of the year, The Rocket will bid to improve his form as he sets his eyes on a record eighth World Championship. After equalling Stephen Hendry’s record with his seventh crown last April, the 47-year-old celebrated the historic victory with his father, Ronnie senior, and two of his children Lily and Ronnie O’Sullivan Junior.
It is understood that the snooker legend’s father’s living arrangements are a far cry from that of his son. The 68-year-old lives in a caravan with his partner Tiffany Kushner, 35.
In July 2021, the pair duly decided they found comfortable living ‘tedious’ and therefore decided to invest in a Mercedes motorhome worth £94,000. The founder of superfood brand Chaga Life previously took to Facebook to post videos of the couple on their caravan venture and their pet dog has also been taken along for the ride.

“It’s the best decision we have ever made, letting go of that myth that owning property and possessions is seen as achieving something,” she said. “All there is to life is to be lived. Our long-term plan is to find a plot of land somewhere and grow our own food.”
Since his release from prison in 2010 after serving 18 years for murder, O’Sullivan Sr has been at some tournaments with his son.
But the moment in Sheffield in 2022 was a special moment for the family after O’Sullivan won at The Crucible once again, which was also perhaps the most special of Ronnie Sr’s life.
“My dad would never come onto the stage,” O’Sullivan said in his upcoming Eurosport documentary Seventh Heaven. “I think it was only because Barry Hearn said to him, ‘Look you better get out there’.
“He said ‘No, I ain’t getting out there’. [Barry] said ‘You’re getting out there!’ and pushed him out there. He went ‘Go and enjoy your moment with your son.’ My dad said to me afterwards, ‘You know what, I’m really glad we’ve done that because that was the best moment of my life’. I want everybody else to experience it.
“Whether I win or not, it doesn’t really matter. It does to my dad who’s like ‘you’re gonna win it, you’re gonna win it.’ I just wanted him to have a good time because he wasn’t here for a lot of years to share some of these moments.
“For me, I just wanted him here to experience it and just get a feel for it because if it wasn’t for him, in my early days, I probably wouldn’t have been a professional sportsman or anything really because he instilled that discipline in me.”
