Brunno Ferreira makes statement in his UFC debut, scoring a knockout of Gregory Rodrigues as an underdog at UFC 283.
On a night where multiple UFC debutants are impressing thus far, Brunno Ferreira continued the trend, scoring an upset, first-round knockout of Gregory Rodrigues during the preliminary card of UFC 283.
The two began the fight with a lot of trading, though Rodrigues seemed to be having the better success on the feet. A takedown attempt by Ferreira was stuffed by Rodrigues before the fight soon resumed back standing.

But with Ferreira pressured and his back to the cage, he feinted with both hands before landing a big hook on the button that dropped Rodrigues out cold.
Ferreira was making his Octagon debut after scoring a 95-second TKO of Leon Aliu on Dana White’s Contender Series.
