Bronny James put on an excellent performance in a playoff victory on Thursday night.
The Sierra Canyon senior dropped a team-high 21 points to help his team past Etiwanda in a regional semi-final matchup.
LeBron James, the greatest high school basketball recruit of all time, knows how to appreciate young talent. The Los Angeles superstar took to Twitter after Bronny’s game to congratulate his son on an excellent performance.
“Bronny you were SPECIAL tonight kid!! Keep going! #AlwaysProudDad,” he wrote.
Bronny is a four-star recruit in the 2023 class. While he’s never been the top-ranked prospect, his stock is steadily rising as he approaches a collegiate decision. His top three schools are Memphis, USC and Ohio State, per 247 Sports.
LeBron has publicly expressed interest in one day playing alongside Bronny in the NBA. Prince James will be eligible for the NBA Draft in 2024.
Bronny and Sierra Canyon will face off against Bishop Montgomery in the regional championship game on Saturday.
