A total of 450 athletes participate this Saturday in the regional competition

CD San Cebrián acts as the host club with two basketball teams and one futsal team
The Special Olympics Full Inclusion League lands this Saturday, March 11, in Palencia.
The regional basketball and futsal competition for athletes with intellectual disabilities will bring together 450 players from both sports in the capital of Palencia, who will enjoy their passion in the Campo de la Juventud and Diego Cosgaya sports centers.
The event will feature the San Cebrián Sports Club, the entity that will act as host, with three teams in the basketball modality. Together with this club, representatives of all the provinces of Castilla y León, as well as Cantabria, to achieve the record of participation in one of the longest-running leagues in the community, with more than thirty editions behind them.
The day -the fourth in the League- will start at 10:00 am, at which time the Palencia club will debut with its level IIIA team, which will play against Seña Bermeja de Zamora. The Terracampino team is the leader of its group and plays against the bottom team, in a match that hopes to make the field factor good.
XXXIV Special Olympics League Full Inclusion Castilla y León
At 12:00 pm one of the highlights of the Palencia day will be played. San Cebrián of the successful 3×3 modality will face CD Duero Zamora, leader of the highest level competition in the League, at a time when the locals are second to only one victory behind the Zamoranos, although in the match of first leg between both teams, the victory went to Duero (11-5).
In this modality, CD San Cebrián will play another two games, against Seña Bermeja, at 12:20 p.m.; and before Asprona León, at 12:40 p.m. All matches will be played at Campo de la Juventud.
For its part, in the futsal modality, the Palencia team will play from 12:00 pm against Independiente de Cantabria, at the Diego Cosgaya Sports Center.
The Special Olympics-Full Inclusion League takes place in six days that rotate throughout the community, and the competition in Palencia will be followed on April 15 by the day in León.
