Boots in the Park likes, loves and wants some more of SilverLakes Equestrian and Sports Park in Norco next year when the country music festival series brings superstar Tim McGraw to the venue March 12.
The “I Like It, I Love It” and “Don’t Take the Girl” hitmaker tops a day of music that also includes Dustin Lynch as well as other artists to be announced.
Tickets go on sale Thursday, Dec. 16, for those who register early via bootsinthepark.com, according to a press release from concert promoter Activated Events. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 17.
Boots in the Park has been a regular event at the SilverLakes complex for years and the June 2021 edition with Chris Young, Scotty McCreery and others was one of the first large-scale concerts to happen in Southern California after pandemic restrictions eased.
McGraw is one of country music’s biggest stars and one of the top-selling artists ever, with 37.5 million albums sold in the U.S. alone, according to the Recording Industry Association of America. The musician and actor’s string of chart-topping hits includes “Not a Moment Too Soon,” “She Never Lets It Go to Her Heart,” “It’s Your Love” (with wife Faith Hill), “Something Like That,” “Grown Men Don’t Cry,” “Live Like You Were Dying” and “Humble and Kind.” McGraw has also headlined Southern California festivals such as the Coastal Country Jam in Huntington Beach in 2019 and the Stagecoach Country Music Festival in Indio in 2015.
The announcement of the latest Norco edition of Boots in the Park comes after Activated Events announced a San Diego version with Blake Shelton, Brett Young and Carly Pearce at Waterfront Park set for April 2.
