An enthralling period of three weeks’ action saw Mumbai Indians women team lift the first title by beating Delhi Capitals women in the final. There have been some amazing performances throughout the tournament, and based on that, here is the combined XI across all five teams.

WPL 2023: Team of the Tournament
In this WPL 2023 Team of the Tournament, we haven’t considered the four overseas player condititon. Hence there can be more than four overseas players in the team based on the performances-
Meg Lanning (DC)
Meg Lanning was a standout performer for her team. Lanning led Delhi brilliantly and ended up winning the Orange Cap (345 runs). She was by far the most consistent batter in the tournament.
Hayley Matthews (MI)
West Indies star Hayley Matthews won the purple cap with most wickets (16 wickets) and was awarded as the player of the tournament. She also scored 271 runs with the bat, 5th highest in the tournament.
Nat Sciver-Brunt (MI)
Nat Sciver-Brunt was excellent for Mumbai and was the star in the final. She scored 332 runs in the tournament and also has 10 wickets to her name. The England player also has the best batting average (66.4) in the WPL 2023.
Ellyse Perry (RCB)
Ellyse Perry was one of the bright sparks for Royal Challengers Bangalore and batted brilliantly for her team in a disappointing season for them. She scored 253 runs and picked up 4 wickets in the tournament.

Amelia Kerr (MI)
Amelia Kerr was another fantastic performer for the champions. The 22-year-old New Zealand player picked up 15 wickets with the ball and scored 149 runs in the inaugural season.
Harmanpreet Kaur (MI)
India and Mumbai Indians captain Harmanpreet Kaur was the glue in the team that kept MI together. Kaur led her team brilliantly and inspired the players to fight after a stutter at the final few group games. She batted brilliantly as well, scoring 281 runs in the tournament.

Yastika Bhatia (MI)
Yastika Bhatia was a solid performer with the bat for Mumbai Indians. She was also quite brilliant behind the stumps, completing 13 dismissals in the tournament. Bhatia took 6 catches and completed 7 stumping across the tournament.
Issy Wong (MI)
Mumbai’s Issy Wong picked up 15 wickets and was often the provider of a breakthrough with the new ball. Her accuracy and lethality with the ball was one of the main reasons MI had an upper hand in most matches. She also swung her bat and amassed 61 runs in the WPL.
Saika Ishaque (MI)
Saika Ishaque is the biggest success story for India in the WPL. The left-arm uncapped spinner was brilliant with the ball as she picked up 15 wickets in the tournament.

Shikha Pandey (DC)
Shikha Pandey was by far the best Indian pacer in the tournament. The Delhi bowler picked up 10 wickets in the WPL at a decent economy of 6.59. The 33-year-old veteran must have bolstered her India team chances with this impressive outing in the WPL.
Kim Garth (GGT)
Gujarat GIants’ Kim Garth was the best bowler for them in the WPL. The Australian racked up 11 wickets and also had a fifer in the tournament.
