With the release of the first issue of Image Comics’ Indigo Children just days away, readers are being invited to become a part of the experience and spread the word about the book.
The ongoing series from Youth creators Curt Pires, Alex Diotto and Dee Cunniffe alongside up-and-comer Rockwell White (Wyrd) kicks off on Wednesday, March 29th with an oversized first issue, and an invitation to join the resistance. Readers will be encouraged to “spread the message” using social media all for the chance to gain access to exclusive items very few will have access to.
COMMUNICATION 001: Running Wednesday, March 29th to Sunday April 2nd:
Up for grabs will be five copies of the “top secret” ashcan edition of Indigo Children #1 that went out to select retailers this past month. Readers can enter to win a copy of this edition (the rarest variant edition of the comic) by helping spread the word about Indigo Children in three ways on either Twitter, Instagram or TikTok.
1) Show yourself with a purchased copy of Indigo Children #1 in hand between Wednesday, March 29th and Sunday, April 2nd with the hashtag #WhoAreTheIndigoChildren to get one (1) entry.
2) Tag and promote your favourite local comic shop in a separate post between Wednesday, March 29th and Sunday, April 2nd with the hashtag #WhoAreTheIndigoChildren to get one (1) entry.
3) Do both of these on release day (Wednesday, March 29th) and get one (1) bonus entry!
If you have an account on each platform, you will get entries for each – though a person will only be allowed to win one copy of the book, in order to spread the word to as many different people as possible.

To help the message continue to spread, readers are encouraged to subscribe to Indigo Children so they don’t miss out on the blockbuster second part of the initiative – where readers can enter to win a piece of original Indigo Children art from series artist Alex Diotto! As with the first part, readers can enter to win a copy of this communication by helping spread the word about Indigo Children in three ways on either Twitter, Instagram or TikTok.

Sources close to the project indicate that Indigo Children #1 is Pires’ best selling title to date, and is rapidly approaching “sell out” status at the distributor level – so participants are being encouraged to reach out to their local comic shop to ensure they can get a copies of the first and second issue (and beyond) before they no longer have access.
