SF Giants fans: Crab fries, Italian beef, grilled cheese (with hot soup) join the Oracle Park lineup

With MLB games getting faster this season, San Francisco Giants fans will want to arrive early at Oracle Park and head straight for the food lines to order what are likely to become the 2023 fan favorites:

CRAB FRIES: Think of this as the snack size of the Crazy Crab sandwich. The Bon Appetit cooks will be tossing waffle fries with Old Bay seasoning and then topping them with Dungeness crab and a drizzle of garlic lemon aioli. Look for them at Murph’s Pub in Section 122 and The Cove in the Blue Shield Field Club Lounge.

GRILLED CHEESE AND SOUP: Where was the hot tomato soup when we needed it at Candlestick? At least it’s here now during these cold days and nights of early spring. The Grilled Cheese Cart will offer a rotating menu of grilled cheese sandwiches that includes the Three Cheese Classic, Bacon BBQ, Italian and Brie/Apricot. Located on the Alaska Airlines Club Level.

ITALIAN BEEF: The Chicago Dog Cart will be serving up this other Chicago favorite, seasoned roast beef served on a bun with au jus and the pickled veggie mix known as giardiniera. Located in Section 118.

CHURWAFFLES AND BBQ: The Burgess Brothers, who have been feeding Niners fans at Levi’s Stadium for a few years, are joining the Oracle lineup this season with their signature churwaffles — dessert waffles made with their family cornbread recipe — as well as brisket and pulled pork loaded fries, mac and cheese and more. Located in Section 110.

JERK AND SWISS: The Orlando’s Caribbean BBQ booth, known for the Cha Cha Bowl, this season will also serve a Jerk Chicken and Swiss Chimichanga topped with shredded cabbage, pico de gallo, queso fresco and chipotle crema. Located in Section 140.

COCKTAILS AND MORE: The Espresso Martini is new to the cocktail menu, as is the Jose Cuervo Margarita On Tap and Juneshine Hard Kombucha.

AND YOU KNOW ABOUT THE BEER: The Doggie Diner locations will sell 14-ounce domestic draft beers for $9.
