Mane and Sane were involved in a post-match scrap following Bayern’s 3-0 defeat against Manchester City in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final clash.
Following a heated row, the former Liverpool star reportedly struck his teammate in the face with Sane left with a busted lip following the incident.
The German champions confirmed Mane’s punishment on Thursday.
A short statement read: ‘Sadio Mané will not be in the FC Bayern squad for the home game against 1899 Hoffenheim next Saturday.
‘The reason is misconduct by Mané after FC Bayern’s Champions League game at Manchester City. In addition, Mané will receive a fine.’
Both players were pictured rather awkwardly together in training on Thursday.
Despite being firmly in the game until the 70th minute, tensions flared as Bayern were swept aside late on by City at the Etihad on Tuesday.
The hosts took control of the contest as Bernardo Silva pounced on an error from Dayot Upamecano, with Erling Haaland on the score sheet six minutes later.
Reports in Germany claim the argument started in the 83rd minute of the match with Sane unhappy Mane did not make himself available for a pass.
After the final whistle, with head coach Thomas Tuchel still fulfilling media obligations, the former Premier League stars continued their row in the dressing room where things became physical.
Mane punched his teammate in the face with the Bayern squad forced to separate the pair.
Mane has struggled since his £35million move to Bayern from Liverpool, with injury disrupting a season in which he has scored just six times in 20 Bundesliga appearances, plus three more in the Champions League.
