Rangers Women coach Craig McPherson has been handed a six match over his headbutt after the Old Firm draw last month.
McPherson admitted the charge of violent conduct at a disciplinary hearing with SFA chiefs on Thursday.
The incident took place following a 1-1 draw with Celtic at Broadwood at the end of March when the 52-year-old confronted opposing manager Fran Alonso from behind after a last minute equaliser.
He then appeared to aim a headbutt at the back of the Spaniard’s head before players and other coaches rushed in.
After the match Alonso also said he was called a “little rat” by the former professional player who had a spell as assistant manager at Greenock Morton.
McPherson later apologised and said he would “accept in full” any punishment.
The punishment will cover all competitions and come into force immediately.
