There’s always a lot of chatter about gowns and getups at the Met Gala, and understandably so — the night is all about fashion. But while Cara Delevingne made her way to Metropolitan Museum of Art wearing a satiny, red suit, the talk once she arrived wasn’t so much about her ensemble as much as what was under it — which she made easy to see by fully removing her jacket to unveil gold-painted toplessness.
Perhaps taking the “gilded” theme more literally than anyone else, Delevingne went full Goldfinger for the 2022 Met Gala, covering her skin from the neck down in metallic makeup. As she posed on the red carpet, the model and actor revealed that there was nothing but paint and pasties underneath her blazer. OK, and some gold body jewelry, too.
The body makeup was a nearly perfect match for Delevingne’s golden shade of blonde. Hairstylist Mara Roszak styled her hair for the evening, using Wella Professionals products to create a timeless, side-parted, smooth-waves look.
“First, we prepped the hair with the Wella Professionals Color Fresh Mask in Golden Gloss to create the gorgeous golden tone that we were going for. I loved the warmth of the color and also how healthy it made the hair look,” Roszak said in a statement. Then, on her wet hair, she applied EIMI Extra Volume Mousse Strong Hold Volumizing Mousse for soft hold and volume. After blowing out her hair and using a curling iron to create the waves, she finished it off with EIMI Stay Firm Workable Finishing Hairspray and a bit of brushing,
