Stretch marks, tummy rolls and body hair are all completely normal, yet plenty of people still feel the need to conceal or airbrush them out of their social media pictures. And with such a negative, judgemental society, who can blame them? Sigh.

That’s why we have a serious amount of time for Instagrammers who are willing to give us a glimpse into their real bodies – toe hair and all. One such example is body positive influencer @yours_sincerley_bekki who uses her account to share her ‘unfiltered life and body with a dollop of acne, body hair, grieving, gardening, motherhood , D.I.Y and fighting beauty standards.’ We’re here for it.

Her latest post, complete with stretch marks and tummy rolls, is an empowering one:

Captioned: “Dear Reader, The fluctuating weight, those skin folds, the creases, the body hair & the strength marks, all those beautiful parts of you are NORMAL,” her post serves to normalise what most people’s bodies probably look like behind all the filters.

Her followers took to the comments section in their droves to thank Bekki for such an inspiring post. One wrote: “You have been helping me to accept my body and other people’s bodies too. By simply showing things just the way they are. So simple, but so difficult,” whilst another added: “Thank you for sharing this. I’ve been having insecurities due to my chemo body and this helps me feel like I’m not alone.”

Despite using her platform to share her body hair, sadly Bekki discovered that Instagram is also full of d**** who think we care what they have to say. When she posted a photo of her feet on her Instagram page, she was met with some downright disgusting comments.discovered when she posted a photo of her feet on her Instagram page and was met with some downright disgusting comments.

Bekki, who dubs herself a ‘skin and body positivity advocate’, posted a photo of her feet on her Instagram page and someone replied saying ‘shouldn’t you shave your toes?’. Rather than hitting them back in the comments section, she brilliantly took it one step further and shared an empowering snap of her feet in all their glory with ‘No?’ painted on her toe nails.

Haven’t shaved your pits? Awesome. Your belly hair? So what. Legs, chin, moustache, toes… hair is normal – even in the weirdest places. We salute you for normalising that, Bekki.
