Aaron Hicks’ career in Yankee Stadium may not be over. The 33-year-old inked a deal with the Baltimore Orioles after being DFA’d by the Yanks on May 20 and will remain in the AL East.

Hicks still had two-years remaining on his seven-year, $70 million contract extension he signed prior to the 2019 season.

However, a combination of injuries and underperformance led to an overall unproductive tenure in pinstripes leading the Bombers to cut the cord early.

The outfielder is slashing .188/.263/.261 with one homer in 28 games played this season. He was the corresponding move to Orioles’ star Cedric Mullins hitting the 10-day injured list due to a groin strain.

This is a developing story. Check back for details.
