Travelling during a pandemic requires adherence to many rules and regulations. From forms to fill to mask-wearing, the vast majority of travellers follow the rules and have no problems getting from A to B.
Adam was aware of the risks, but he said: “I think the best way to illustrate absurdity is with absurdity.”
The serial offender had tried to wear his red underwear as a mask before.
He explained: “Every single flight has been met with different reactions from the flight crew.
“Some with a wild appreciation, others confrontational.”

The United Airlines flight was the first time Adam did not make it to his destination.
Adam said: “Eventually, they called TSA and airport security.
“I ended up staying at the gate for about 45 minutes.”
After being removed from the plane, he was met by the local sheriff’s office.
The passenger was refunded for his flight, and he planned on flying again this week.
He said: “Hopefully, Spirit Airlines has a better sense of humour.”
United Airlines released a statement saying: “The customer clearly wasn’t in compliance with the federal mask mandate and we appreciate that our team addressed the issue on the ground prior to take-off, avoiding any potential disruptions on the air.”
Adam, meanwhile, said his “intention was not to ruin anybody else’s day”.
