Abu Dhabi hosts 2022 Judo Grand Slam

ABU DHABI, 21st October, 2022 (WAM) – Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, the 2022 Judo Grand Slam Abu Dhabi got underway today at the Jiu-Jitsu Arena in Abu Dhabi.

The launch ceremony was attended by Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, Jabr Mohammed Ghanem, Minister of State, Mohammed bin Thaaloob Al Derie, Chairman of the tournament higher organising committee, and President of the UAE Wrestling and Judo Federation, Marius Vizer, President of the International Judo Federation (IJF), heads of participating delegations and a number of diplomats accredited to the UAE.

The IJF World Tour event is supported by Abu Dhabi Sports Council.
