Adipurush Box Office Day 7: Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer faces a major drop in numbers

Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer Adipurush has been grabbing attention for multiple reasons since its release. Adipurush opened on a good note at the box office. For the uninitiated, it collected over Rs 140 crore on its first day globally. After two days, Prabhas starrer started performing poorly in numbers at the box office. On Wednesday (Day 6), Adipurush collected Rs 15 crore at the worldwide box office. On day 7, Adipurush again performed poorly.

Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer didn’t collect much at the box office. Despite negative response, Adipurush has crossed the 400 crore mark globally.

The Om Raut directorial stars Prabhas as Raghava and Kriti Sanon plays Janaki. Apart from that, Saif Ali Khan plays Raavan, Sunny Singh is Laxman and Devdatta Nage plays Lord Hanuman.

The film has been a part of many controversies since its release. The film grabbed attention for its poor VFX, objectionable dialogues, costumes and a lot more. After facing backlash, Adipurush makers changed the dialogues.

A few days ago, Kriti Sanon reacted to the film’s backlash. The actress shared a bunch of videos of the audiences’ reaction to the film. The videos show people cheering and clapping. Kriti wrote in the caption, “Focusing on the cheers and claps! (heart and folded hands emoji) Jai Siya Ram.” On the other hand, Kriti’s mom Geeta too reacted to the backlash.

Bollywood Bubble gave Adipurush 2.5 stars. A part of the review reads, “The story might leave you not very strongly impacted, but it will sweetly touch your heart. For the performances, Saif and Kriti have given, this film deserves to be watched on a big screen.”
