For Adrián Parras the future has accelerated. “He is not very nervous”, explain his relatives after embarking on the trip to California to play this weekend in the World Cross Country Championship.

The 21-year-old athlete from Valladolid will represent Spain with the team of the Spanish Federation of Sports for People with Intellectual Disabilities.

Adrián will participate in the 4,000 and 8,000 meter events. On Saturday it will be the turn for the 4,000 test, in which Adrián admits that he is more competitive -in fact, his favorite modality is the 5,000-.

In addition, in this first race, the athlete from Campo Grande will score for the national team, and there are high hopes for him.

On Sunday it will be the turn for the 8,000, a race in which Abdil, his coach, explains that Adrián’s “fatigue” must also be taken into account, “and the recovery” he can make.
