Sammy Guevara has advanced in the above-mentioned tournament as he defeated “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry on Dynamite via count out and advanced to next week’s match, where he will meet Darby Allin in the finals to decide MJF’s DoN opponent.

The match-finish saw MJF getting involved as he used the Dynamite Diamond Ring to punch Jungle Boy outside the ring as Guevara distracted the referee. Perry was thus counted out from the match to hand over Sammy the win.
Earlier on Dynamite, MJF told Sammy that he wanted Sammy to advance to Double or Nothing so that Guevara could digest the loss to him. Sammy wasn’t interested but a blank cheque earned a positive nod from him.
The Four Pillars tournament idea was also proposed in the opening segment AEW Dynamite April 19 episode where Jungle Boy, Sammy Guevara, and Darby Allin all made claim to be the next challenger for MJF. Allin notably got the bye to the final round.

In more announcements for next week’s AEW Dynamite, the undefeated Jade Cargill will face her toughest opponent for her championship, to date when she goes one-on-one against AEW’s latest recruit, Taya Valkyrie.
Initially, the thought was that Cargill was likely to put her title on the line in this huge match at Double or Nothing set for late May. However, the match was surprisingly preponed to a regular Dynamite episode.
Cargill is the inaugural and only TBS Champion in AEW history who won the title back in January of 2022. On the other hand, Valkyrie, the former WWE Superstar has just arrived in AEW, a few weeks ago.
That being said, the April 26 episode of AEW Dynamite match card set from the FLA Live Arena in Sunrise, Florida goes as follows:
– TBS Championship: Jade Cargill (c) vs. Taya Valkyrie
– Four Pillar Tournament Final: Sammy Guevara vs. Darby Allin (Winner to face MJF for AEW World Heavyweight Championship at Double or Nothing)
