The highly-anticipated cross-promotional pay-per-view’s second edition (jointly presented by All Elite Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling) will be part of this six-show Canadian tour running from mid-June through late July.

The 2023 Forbidden Door will go down on June 25 at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, marking AEW’s second-only show in Toronto. The now-announced date was previously indicated through Spectrum cable TV listings, last month.

The rest of the show listing published by AEW is given below:

Wednesday, June 28: “AEW: Dynamite” and “AEW: Rampage” live from FirstOntario Centre in Hamilton, Ontario. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 24 at 10 AM ET.

Wednesday, July 5: “AEW: Dynamite” and “AEW: Rampage” live from Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 24 at 10 AM MT.

Wednesday, July 12: “AEW: Dynamite” live from SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 24 at 10 AM CT.

Saturday, July 15: “AEW House Rules” live at Saddledome, as part of Canada’s iconic annual cultural event – “Calgary Stampede,” in Calgary, Alberta. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 17 at 10 AM MT.

Despite some setbacks through injuries at last year’s Forbidden Door, the PPV was a critically-acclaimed one and AEW President and CEO Tony Khan made clear in a December press scrum that it will eventually make a comeback.

In the inaugural edition of Forbidden Door, Jon Moxley defeated NJPW veteran Hiroshi Tanahashi to retain the Interim AEW World Champion in the main event while IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Jay White retained his title against Kazuchika Okada, Hangman Page, and Adam Cole in another marquee match.

In more announcements from AEW, Powerhouse Hobbs will go through his first TNT Championship defense, this Friday Night on Rampage. The big man will defend the title against Rey Fenix in an open challenge. He won the title from Wardlow, last week on Dynamite.

The latest inclusion to the AEW roster Taya Valkyrie will make her in-ring debut while 2point0 (Matt Menard and Angelo Parker) will take on Bollywood Boyz (Gurvinder “Gurv” Sihra and Harvinder “Harv” Sihra).

At a glance, the March 17 episode of AEW Rampage, airing at a special time of 11:30 p.m. on the TNT Network to accommodate the schedule of the NCAA tournament, goes as follows:

TNT Championship Match: Powerhouse Hobbs (c) vs. Rey Fenix

– Taya Valkyrie’s in-ring debut

– 2point0 vs. Bollywood Boyz
