AGT fans left speechless after ‘real life walking dead’ zombie performance

A group of self-proclaimed Zombie contortionists left America’s Got Talent judges and fans gobsmacked after they took the stage during a recent instalment of the hit NBC talent show.

The professional group, who goes by the stage name of Atai Show, took to the stage for their cringe-worthy performance in front of judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara, and Howie Mandal.

The group were dressed up in zombified attire covered in fake blood, distressed clothing and wore masks to hide their faces.

The unusual outfits were just a taster of what was to come before they began twisting and bending their bodies in perfect time to the beat of the music.

During their performance, the contortionists pulled off dance moves that left fans at home “aching” after watching.

At one point one of the performers was seen twisting his head 180 degrees around, with another popping his bones out of his sockets and contorting his body in unnatural poses.

Simon Cowell could barely look while watching on from the panel, covering his eyes with his hands, while Howie gasped with his mouth wide open, and an audible scream could be heard from Sofia as the dancers moved their bodies in mind-blowing ways.

The audience was also visibly uncomfortable watching the act with many screaming “no” as they squirmed in their chairs.

And viewers at home were quick to share their opinion on the unique performance, with some even admitting they were physically affected after watching at home.

One viewer @Markimoofan29 took to Twitter to share: “Everything hurts watching this lol.”

A second user @ccgamergirl94 tweeted: “It made my back crack but I couldn’t look away because it was amazing but creepy in a great way.”

While @cplanadeball praised the performers, adding: “This is some exorcist/Thriller stuff. They are not humans… I thought that it was fantastic!!! Lol.”

@ladygj similarly echoed: “This stole the show. Definitely watching this again and again and again…”

“I don’t usually swear on social but what the f*** did I just witness?! Had me on the edge of my seat (or couch) the whole time! iPhone wouldn’t even recognize my face to unlock!” @TheeJohnCrane shared.

With fan @GregoryGAllen claiming: “This was one of the best I’ve seen. So clever. So creepy. So original.”
