Rosario Dawson will soon give the world a complete look into her Jedi training as the titular character in Ahsoka, but it seems that the order’s meditative exercises are bleeding into the star’s personal life as well.
Dawson is celebrating her 44th birthday, so she used this opportunity to go on Twitter and tell her fans what really “embodies” this momentous day for her. As it happens, most of it involves doing topless yoga out in the heart of nature, and even looking at these pictures, we can’t begin to imagine how refreshing and calming it must feel like.
That’s certainly one way to celebrate your birthday and reflect on this journey of life, especially if you happen to spend half of your days roleplaying as a former Jedi Knight.
Rosario has been portraying the live-action version of Ahsoka Tano since December 2020, with The Book of Boba Fett marking her last appearance. Now, she’s reprising that role for a solo outing in Ahsoka, a show that brings a number of familiar faces like Sabine Wren, Hera Syndulla, Ezra Bridger, Admiral Thrawn, and even Anakin Skywalker back to the galaxy far, far away.
Showrunners Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau are keeping plot details tightly under wraps, but going by the trailer alone, it seems that Ahsoka is taking influence from Timothy Zahn’s highly acclaimed and now non-canon sequel book, Heir to the Empire.
We still have a few months until Ahsoka makes its way to Disney Plus, but Rosario Dawson has shown that the Force remains strong with her. Always.
