Air ride sirens are this evening ringing out across much of Ukraine. Reports alleged Russian cruise missiles could be “inbound from sea”.
At around 10pm local time (8pm GMT), air raid sirens were active in 15 different cities, according to reports.
These were Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Kropyvnytskyi, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv.
Ukrainian MP Oleksiy Goncharenko said the sirens could be heard “screaming” across the country.
He wrote in a post on Twitter: “Outside, the sirens are screaming again.
“Air raid over most of Ukraine, except for the west.
“Russia again decided to spoil the evening for the Ukrainians.”
Ukraine Front Lines reported sources claiming there was a “threat” of Russian missiles being launched from the Sea of Azov – and/or the Black Sea.
It added in Kyiv, for the “first time”, there was a “delay in the digital announcement” following the sounding of sirens.

By just after midnight, local time, a number of the sirens began to stop.
