Ajay Devgn made a post on his Instagram and remembered the Drishyam director Nishikant Kamat on Friday. Drishyam 2, the sequel released in theatres today, November 18. On his Instagram stories, Ajay Devgn shared a throwback photo of Nishikant Kamat and him from an event as Drishyam 2 released theatrically.
Sharing the throwback photo, in his post, the Drishyam 2 actor wrote, “Today as the Drishyam case reopens after 7 years, I’m taking a moment to remember Nishi…#NishikantKamat #Drishyam2.“

Drishyam 2 starring Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Akshaye Khanna, Rajat Kapoor, Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta and Mrunal Jadhav was released on November 18. Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the movie focuses on the reopening of the Salgaonkar case, after 7 years.

Talking about Nishikant Kamat, the filmmaker helmed the prequel titled Drishyam. The movie was released in 2015 and was a box office success. It managed to win the hearts of the audience.
Nishikant Kamat left this world for his heavenly abode on August 17 in 2020. He is known for his directorial projects namely, Daddy, Dombivali Fast, Lai Bhaari, Mumbai Meri Jaan, among others.
On the work front, Ajay Devgn has the movie Bholaa in his kitty. The film also features Tabu. And, it was only recently that Ajay announced the wrap up of the Bholaa shoot.
