Al Ahly qualifies for CAF Champions League final

CAIRO, 19th May, 2023 (WAM) — Egypt’s Al Ahly qualified for the final round of the CAF Champions League after defeating Espérance Sportive de Tunis 1-0 today, Friday, in the second leg of the semi-finals of the tournament.

Al Ahly secured its qualification by winning 4-0 in the two matches, after defeating Espérance 3-0 in the first leg in Tunisia.

Al Ahly will meet in the final with the winner of the other semi-final match, which brings together South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns and Moroccan Wydad AC tomorrow, Saturday.
