Álex González still does not believe it. The athlete from Avila -from Cebreros- from Adas Salamanca has just joined the staff of the Spanish soccer team.
The man from Cebrer, one of the most outstanding futsal players at a national level, and a great athlete in general from the Federation of Adapted Sports of Castilla y León (Fedeacyl) will join the team of the coach, Luis de la Fuente, soon.
“He will start in the lower categories to gain experience, and then he will join the team,” they value from the RFEF.

The Adas Salamanca athlete has lived a few “very special” days, his relatives acknowledge. “When they called us to meet Álex and we arrived at Las Rozas, the emotion was incredible,” they point out.
One of the most special moments for Álex was the time to meet the national coach and his entire coaching staff. “They welcomed him with open arms,” they acknowledge from the Adas Salamanca.
After a short interview where they got to know Alex in a more personal way, they showed him all the facilities, soccer fields, player residences, gyms, etc.
The man from Avila was also present at the signing of the agreement between the Royal Spanish Football Federation and the Spanish Autism Confederation.

On the occasion of the agreement, Álex also met Luis Rubiales, president of the RFEF; and Albert Luque, RFEF football director.
