Alexa Demie has become an instant it-girl thanks to her role as Maddy in Euphoria. Now, folks are obsessed with knowing everything about the HBO star (did you know she once designed sunglasses for celebs like Nicki Minaj?) and that includes keeping an eye out for every beauty and fashion choice she makes. Her new status as an industry beauty muse has even earned her a makeup collaboration with MAC.
Recently, Demie’s hair specifically has been in the spotlight after the actor traded her long hair for a super-short cut. At Paris Fashion Week in early March, we couldn’t stop staring at the micro bangs she debuted at the Balenciaga show — how the hell does someone look so good with bangs that short? And for the HBO Max For Your Consideration event for Euphoria on April 20, she transformed into Betty Boop’s twin with slicked-down swoops on her forehead.
Her pixie cut was parted on the side and slicked down with a visible sheen. Pieces of her hair were styled into loops around her hairline that give her a major resemblance to the cartoon character. One large swoop covers one side of her forehead next to the other swirly tendrils. The Waves star complemented the hairstyle with a shimmery long sleeve black gown, a cat eye, and glossy lips. Her thin eyebrows also helped to complete the retro look.
