Alia Bhatt got married to actor Ranbir Kapoor on April 14, in an intimate wedding ceremony in Mumbai. The couple tied the knot at their residence, Vastu. Ahead of the wedding, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor had an intimate Mehendi ceremony at their home. The Mehendi ceremony of Alia and Ranbir was attended by close friends and family. Alia’s bestie, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor took to her Instagram to share unseen photos from the Mehendi ceremony. Akansha Kapoor shared pictures of her as she couldn’t stop crying at the pre-wedding festivities of her BFF.

Taking to Instagram, Akansha shared a string of photos from Alia’s Mehendi. The photos show Akansha crying at the wedding festivites. One photo shows Alia standing next to Kapoor while she is getting emotional. Another photo shows Kapoor crying her heart out as her dearest best friend is getting married. In another photo from the pre-wedding festivities, Karan Johar is clicked consoling a crying Akansha.

Sharing the photos, Alia Bhatt’s BFF wrote, “the (de)escalation of ARK’s emotions at every wedding, ever. (sic).” Reacting to the post, Alia took to the comments section and wrote, “Ded,” followed by a laughing emoji. Akansha’s sister, Anushka Kapoor commented, “Hahahaha cried a lot I must say.”

Alia had also shared precious photos from her Mehendi function. She had shared some blissful moments and given a glimpse of the fun at the pre-wedding festivities.

Sharing the photos, the actress had written, “The Mehendi was like something out of a dream. It was a day full of love, family, our beautiful best friends, a LOT of French fries, a surprise performance by the ladkewalas, Ayan playing DJ, a BIG surprise organised by Mr. Kapoor (my favourite artist performed my favourite songs), all followed by some happy tears and quiet, blissful moments with the love of my life. There are days… and then there are days like these! (sic).”

Meanwhile, Ranbir and Alia’s wedding festivities were attended by Karan Johar, Luv Ranjan, Ayan Mukerji, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, and other family members. The couple had also hosted an intimate wedding party for their close friends a day after their nuptials.
