For model Taylor Hill’s Winter Park, Colorado wedding, bohemian glamour was the vibe. Hill wed venture capitalist Daniel Fryer in Etro’s first-ever wedding dress, a tiered off-the-shoulder gown that, though finished with ruffles and florets, communicated free-spirited ease—a feel furthered by the model’s choice to go barefoot, and her seemingly effortless hair.
“For Taylor’s wedding, we went for simple elegance: a half up, half down style with loose waves,” says hairstylist Danielle Priano. “She wanted to feel like herself.” To achieve the perfectly undone updo, Priano prepped lengths with Big Sexy Hair Big Altitude Bodifying Blow Dry Mousse combed from root to ends, followed by a round brush blowout. Though extensions were added for body, Priano opted to keep Hill’s length natural, using a one-inch iron to curl sections in opposite directions for dimension and applying a final mist of Big Sexy Hair Spray and Play Volumizing Hairspray to ensure maximum hold throughout the duration of the outdoor ceremony.
Makeup was strategically minimal, too. “I was inspired by Taylor’s natural beauty, her dress, flowers, and the beautiful countryside of the location,” says makeup artist Carolina Gonzalez, who focused on flushed cheeks and glowing skin. Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Concealer and Foundation were followed by a swirl of Luminous Silk Glow Blush, rose-touched lips, and a swipe of mascara providing aisle-ready punctuation. The result was a bridal beauty look entirely matched to its environment: aspirational, relaxed, and wildly romantic.
