YouTube stars Slim Albaher and Ryan Taylor will settle their years-long rivalry in the boxing ring next month at London’s The O2 Indigo.

Albaher, an American influencer with hundreds of thousands of followers across social media, has been boxing consistently for the past few years, while Brit Taylor began training earlier this year. They both have experience making the walk, and dare-devil stuntman Taylor is known for high-pressure stunts that would pump the adrenaline in a similar way.

Over the past 12 months, both men have made headlines in the YouTube boxing space, although for different reasons. Albaher served up one of the most vicious knockouts seen since influencers began fighting last September against 3Bidaan in Dubai, cementing himself as a fearsome puncher.

But Taylor didn’t get the chance to throw much hands in his own boxing debut this March at the debut of Showstar. He was an underdog heading into his fight with American DK Money, and opted to headbutt his rival after growing frustrated during the clinch.

Quotes corner

Slim Albaher: “I see a lot of weaknesses in Ryan, I see a lot. That’s why I’m going to expose him on the day, trust me, I actually do this, bro, I actually do this boxing s***.

“There’s a reason why I’m the only person other than Jake Paul who’s knocking people out. Me and Jake are the only two people who have knocked every single person out we’ve fought.

Ryan Taylor: “I’m a real fighter, I’ve analysed the guys that he’s fought, everyone you’ve fought has been s***, they’re dead, they’ve got no skills, let’s just be honest about it.

“Don’t start going putting yourself in the same conversation as Jake Paul. You and Jake are at a totally different level, he’s competing against real fighters, you ain’t competing against nobody brother, let’s just be real.”
