The field of 16 players for the tournament at Aldersley Leisure Village is now confirmed, with the final seeding order and the draw and format to be confirmed after today’s BetVictor Welsh Open final.
But regardless of the result in Llandudno, Allen is sure to meet 16th seed O’Connor when the ITV-televised tournament gets underway. On table two, Ryan Day will play either Zhou Yuelong (if Shaun Murphy wins the Welsh final) or Chris Wakelin (if Milkins wins).
