Always on point: Netizens applaud Vicky Kaushal as he DEFENDS Sara Ali Khan for being trolled over temple visits  

Actor Sara Ali Khan is often seen visiting temples and even makes heartwarming posts on the same on Instagram. However, she recently visited Ujjain’s Mahakaleshwar temple and was heavily criticised by some people. During a recent media interaction, Sara gave a very humble response when asked about people trolling her over temple visits. But then her Zara Hatke Zara Bachke co-star Vicky Kaushal also backed her and gave a befitting reply.

Vicky Kaushal defended Sara Ali Khan after being trolled

Vicky said, “Ek aur cheez kya hoti hai ki, kuch bhi karta hai insaan aur wo troll hota hai. Toh sawaal unko pucha jaata hai jinka koi naata hi nahi tha, jo apne life mein aapna kaam kar rahe the. I think what needs to happen ki agar troll jaisa attention leta hai koi as a media, jaise aap unke baare mein baat karte ho, aap unko aur bhadhava de rahe ho. Agar aapko sawaal puchna hai toh unse puchni chahiye.“

“Agar main sadak me chal raha hu aur kisine mujhe gaali diya, toh mujhse thodi na sawaal puchna chahiye. Jisne gaali diya unse puchhe jaane chahiye ki aap gaali kyu de rahe ho. I think wo process thoda change hona chahiye. Internet is an open medium. Aur aap kuch bhi bol sakte ho aur aapki marzi hai ki aap kaha dhyaan donge. Jo taareef kar raha hai unpe dhyaan do ya jo gaali de raha hai unpe. Wo dono cheeze chalti rahegi,” the Raazi actor said.

“The thing is that when a person does something and gets trolled, the media ask the question to the person who has nothing to do with it. The person is only doing his job. I think what needs to happen, like if you guys, as a legit media publication, are giving attention to trolls then you’re encouraging them to do more. If you want to ask then you should ask them (trolls). For instance, if I’m walking on the road and someone abuses me. So, you’ll not question me but ask the person who abused me. I think this thought process needs to change. The internet is an open medium and people are free to say anything but after all, it’s up to you to whom you want to pay attention. You want to give attention to the person who is praising us or who is abusing us.”
