American-themed burger joint Varsity opens new venue

American-themed sports bar Varsity is promising big burgers and frosty beers at its new Innaloo venue, which opened last week.

Varsity Innaloo on Liege Street is the chain’s eighth bar across Perth since it launched in 2013 and has direct access to Innaloo Events Cinema.

The new venue offers an alfresco dining area and an expansive indoor venue decorated with three larger-than-life murals featuring Will Ferrell character Ricky Bobby and Adam Sandler’s Happy Gilmore by Hartley Designs’ Michael Hartley and Muralist.

The new offering features two large screens, a mega bar, pool tables, a raised viewing platform with booths, four event spaces and a theatre room.

“Parked up next to Event Cinemas, Varsity Innaloo is the ultimate go-to spot for date night, family outings or afternoon hangouts with mates,” the website said.

It joins Varsity venues in Fremantle, Joondalup, Morley, Nedlands, Northshore Tavern, Northbridge and Waterford.
