At the guts of each comedy is sharp writing. Amit Tandon is aware of that every one too properly, having devoted the previous few months to scripting a comedy function movie. The writing bug seems to have bitten him exhausting as Tandon, having wrapped up his work on the movie, has gone again to the writing desk to pen an online collection. “I feel that all comedians are inherent writers. After recently completing the script of a potential feature film, I had another idea that was more suited to long-format storytelling. So, without wasting any further time, I decided to pen down this one as well,” says the stand-up comedian, who’s at present headlining Goodnight India, a household comedy that he hopes places a smile on his viewers’ face earlier than they hit the mattress each night time.

The net collection is centred on an city household, and bears his signature model of humour that stems from on a regular basis conditions and observations. Tandon provides, “Foraying into writing comes naturally to me as I have always written my own jokes, acts and skits on every TV show collaboration or stand-up special that I have done. The content is best performed by me if I have been its sole source.”
