In the recent days, celebrities all over the world have been facing some issues due to the new rules on Twitter. The social media platform has taken the blue ticks, that verify the authenticity of a notable person, away from many celebs. Amitabh Bachchan is one such person who suffered the same thing. But the actor has made even that fun with his wit and hilarious request to the platform.

Amitabh Bachchan reacts to losing blue tick on Twitter

The Big B took to his twitter account today after the blue tick disappeared from his profile. He posted a hilarious tweet, that too in Bhojpuri language. He referred to Twitter as an entity and wrote a fun message. It loosely translates to, “Aye Twitter bro, Are you listening? Now we have deposited the money too… so that blue tick is there, right, put it back brother, so that people know that I am the real- Amitabh Bachchan .. I have already folded my hands for you, do I need to fold my feet too?”

Amitabh Bachchan sure does have a witty sense of humour. And he puts that on display quite often. The actor knows how to take anything in jest and this was another such example. As per new Twitter rules, from April 15, people would be able to retain their blue ticks only after paying a subscription fees. That is what even Bachchan referred to in his tweet that now he has paid for it. Shah Rukh Khan, Virat Kohli, Rahul Gandhi are some other Indian celebs whose blue tick has gone away.

On the work front, the Big B has recently resumed shooting after his injury that he suffered on the shoot of Project K in Hyderabad. The film features him alongside Prabhas and Deepika Padukone. Apart from that, he has The Intern remake as well with Deepika and the court room drama Section 84.
