In the picture, Big B can be seen standing next to a police van as he looks sadly to the ground. He can be seen wearing black joggers with a checkered shirt along with a white turtle neck t-shirt beneath. However, it is unclear if the megastar is arrested for real or if he is just joking.

For the unversed, Amitabh Bachchan shared a photo of him where can be seen riding a pillion on a stranger`s bike. While sharing the photo, the megastar even thanked the stranger who gave him a lift and helped him reach his destination on time.

However, a section of social media users pointed out that Big B was not wearing a helmet and tagged Mumbai Police to take cognizance of his action and even trolled Big B for the same. Now, it looks like with his latest Instagram post, Mr Bachchan tried to joke about the no-helmet fiasco.

After Amitabh shared the photo with the caption `arrested`, fans flocked to Amitabh`s comments section and flooded it with some hilarious comments. Reacting to Big B`s photo a fan wrote, “Don ko pakadna Mushkil hee nahi… Naamumkin hai.”

“Bhootnath ko koi arrest nahi kar sakta sir”, commented another fan.

“Sir Again without helmet,” wrote another fan.

“So finally 14 mulkon ki police succeeded..!!”, read another comment.

However, Bachchan took to his personal blog and shared the real reason behind the viral picture. Revealing why he rode a pillion without a helmet on the bike, the actor wrote, “the impotency of content .. Much made out of the bike picture .. ! How you moving on the street with stranger ..? No security ..? You are loved take care ..? And then .. NO HELMET .. !!!!!! The fact of the matter is that this is on location shoot on the street of Mumbai ..It is Sunday .. formal permission taken for shoot at a lane in Ballard Estate .. permission was sought for Sunday because all offices are shut and there is no public or traffic .. One lane in the region BLOCKED off by Police permission for shoot .. the lane barely 30-40 meters .. The dress I wear is my costume for the film ..(sic)”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Amitabh will be seen next in ‘Project K’, which also stars Deepika Padukone and Prabhas. Big B will also be seen in Ribhu Dasgupta’s next courtroom drama film ‘Section 84’.
